Friendly Pet Boarding & Grooming in State College

At Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital, we take excellent care of your pet while you are away, providing a safe and secure environment with plenty of playtime and all the amenities you’d expect from a great pet boarding facility. Our climate-controlled kennels include dedicated spaces for dogs, as well as separate spaces for cats, to minimize the stress feline companions may experience in a room full of rowdy canines!

Pet Boarding at Mt. Nittany

All boarders receive the personal attention they need and deserve from our caring veterinary staff, and your pet’s stress-free comfort is our main goal. Because we are a full-service veterinary hospital, we are also able to accommodate any unique health needs your pet may have, such as regular medication or geriatric care. You can also rest easy knowing your companion will be safe and sound, just mere feet away from our exceptional doctors.

Our kennels are located on the second floor, so please let us know if your pet has climbing difficulties or other special needs. We have comfortable boarding accommodations for your feline friends as well.

We recommend that you always call ahead to reserve a boarding space for your pet. To fill out your boarding information in advance, click on the link below to download a printable copy. You may bring this with you or fax it to us at (814) 237-1195.

Please Note: In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all animals within our facility, our policy requires that all dogs must be current on their rabies, distemper, parvo, and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations and be free of internal and external parasites. Your dog must have had a negative fecal test in the last month (30 days) if he or she is not on a heartworm preventive. Cats must be current on their rabies and distemper vaccinations and be free from fleas. Vaccinations must be updated 1 week prior to the check in date.
