Many of you may have noticed that Dr. Katie Kalp has been absent from the practice for the last couple of weeks . . . and that’s because Dr. Kalp and her husband were expecting their first child!  But the key word there was “were” . . . we can now say “Congratulations”, as the Kalp’s welcomed their son into the world yesterday!

Dr. Kalp will remain at home to care for her new baby for the next couple of months, and then will be returning to Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital part-time starting around the beginning of May!

All of us here at the Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital are thrilled for the Kalp’s, we wish them all the best, and we’ll also be looking forward to Dr. Kalp’s return later in the Spring!

Well, looks like we “missed it” at Mt. Nittany Veterinary Hospital this winter . . . and didn’t realize it was National Pet Dental Health Month in February.  But, we’d rather be a little behind than miss it altogether, so we’re going to offer “Better Late than Never” Pet Dental Health Month in March!  We’d like to encourage all of our clients to pay particular attention to their pet’s oral health, and we’ll offer a 10% courtesy off of all dental care provided during the month of March!
